Fire ripped through a Greene County home this morning. At least five fire companies were called to 160 Sandy Plains Road in the Leeds fire district just before 11am. We're told the home has extensive damage. No word on any injuries. We were also told everyone got out ok. Units from Leeds, West Athens, Cairo, Athens, and Catskill assisted. The historic home was built in the 1700's. A company was working on the interior of the home before the fire broke out. Catskill Fire company and Lance Wheeler took pics from the scene.
