Updated-2:05pm, The deceased was a passenger, who was thrown from the jeep. He's been identified as 22 year old Jacob Sweeney of Saugerties. The driver was 21 year old John Playford of Saugerties.
One person died in a horrific crash this morning, in the Saxton Fire District of Saugerties. Sometime after 5:30, a car was traveling southbound on Route 32, hit a patch of ice and became airborne. We're told one person in the car died. In the house, a mother and two children were buried under the fallen rubble, caused by the car, when it crashed into the home.
