Greene County woman faces charges from shoplifting complaint

Woman from Durham was arrested after shoplifting with marihuana on her

(Stamford, NY – March 30, 2017) On March 28, 2017, at about 2:40 p.m., New York State Police at Stamford arrested Tisha M. Grizzard, age 34, of Durham, NY for the misdemeanor of Petit Larceny and the violation of Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. 

This arrest occurred after a trooper responded to a theft complaint at the Tops Friendly Market on Main Street in the Village of Stamford. An investigation determined that Grizzard had shoplifted an E.L.F. foundation makeup valued at about $5. When she was being arrested she was also found to unlawfully possess a metal smoking device that had a small amount of marihuana with it. 

Grizzard was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Stamford Court on April 11, 2017.
