Coronavirus: Cancellations, postponements, changes as of March 20, 2020

• SUNY New Paltz has postponed is commencement ceremonies, originally scheduled for May 15 for graduate students and May 16 and 17 for undergraduates.

• The Woodstock Farm Sanctuary in High Falls is closed until May.

• The April 6 meeting of the town of Saugerties Zoning Board of Appeals is canceled.

• The Dutchess County Household Hazardous Waste Disposal & Electronics Recycling Event scheduled for March 28 is canceled.

• The pancake dinner at the Rochester Reformed Church in Accord set for March 28 is canceled.

• St. James United Methodist Church in Kingston will be broadcasting live worship services at 10 a.m. Sundays at facebook.com/StJamesKingston through at least the end of March. Most group activities are canceled, though 12-step programs, Bible studies and church meetings will continue on schedule, unless otherwise announced. 

• The St. James Happy to Help Food Pantry will be closed March 22 but will be open outdoors on Sunday, March 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. Anyone needing emergency food can call (845) 331-3030 to arrange for pickup at other times.

• The New Paltz Retired Men's Group has temporarily suspended its monthly meetings.

• Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site’s grounds in Newburgh will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The museum is closed.

• The April 3 "Dancing with the Stars, Ulster Style" event has been postponed until Thursday, June 11.

• The Department of Motor Vehicles office in the Ulster County Office Building in Kingston is closed until further notice. A drop box for the office is on the back side of the building, 244 Fair St.

• The Southern Tier Seniors have canceled their April 1 meeting at The Mason's Hall, 9 North Road, Tivoli. 

• The Town of Ulster Senior Club has canceled its Thursday, March 26, meeting at the Town of Ulster Senior Center, 1 Town Hall Drive, Lake Katrine. The center will be closed until Wednesday, April 1. The group has also canceled its Tuesday, April 14, trip to the Saratoga casino. All payments will be fully refunded.

• The Ulster County Animal Response team has canceled its Tuesday, April 14, meeting at the Marbletown Community Center.

• The United Reformed Church in Bloomington has canceled its Heavenly Soups To Go and its Movie Night, both scheduled for Friday, March 20.

• The Senate House State Historic Site in Kingston has canceled "Sugaring Off: 18th Century Style," scheduled for Saturday, April 4.

• Chabad of Ulster County, 254 Lucas Ave., Kingston, will not be having its regularly scheduled prayer services or classes. 

• The Rhinebeck Village Board has canceled a budget workshop meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 26.

• Mohonk Consultations in New Paltz has canceled "Finding Common Ground Despite Differences," scheduled for Sunday, April 5. It also has canceled its Distinguished Achievement Award and Celebration of its 40th Anniversary, scheduled for Sunday, June 14.

• A nickel social sponsored by St. Mary's Youth Ministry, scheduled for Saturday, April 4, at Hose Company 3 in Coxsackie, has been canceled.

• Price Chopper supermarkets in Saugerties and Catskill will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week, with special pre-opening hours for seniors from 6 to 7 a.m., until further notice.

• The Ashokan Center in Olivebridge has canceled this year's Spring Day Camp, scheduled for April 6-10.

• The Rosendale Fire District meeting on Monday, March 23, is canceled.

• The Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center is closed until further notice.

• Village elections in Saugerties, Rhinebeck and Tivoli, originally scheduled for March 18, are postponed until April 28.

• The Thomas Cole National Historic Site in Catskill has postponed events and tours for March and April. The grounds are open for visits. 

• The Hyde Park Town Hall will be closed to the public through March 22.

• The Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill has postponed some performances until August and canceled performances by The Hyde Park Ensemble and Flo Hayle's cabaret.

• The Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce has canceled its April and May breakfast meetings and networking mixers.

• The Clearwater Community Celebration scheduled for June 20-21 at Croton Point Park has been canceled.

• The Starr Library in Rhinebeck is closed through March 31.

• The E.R. Evarts Library in Athens is closed.

• Kingston's soccer team, Stockade FC, has canceled all future tryouts and says it is unclear what will happen to the 2020 season, which runs from May through July.

• The Section 9 Athletic Council has extended its suspension of all competition to May 1.

• The Clermont State Historic Site's historic mansion and visitors center will not open for the season for tours and events on April 9, as previously scheduled. The Chancellor’s Sheep and Wool Showcase, originally scheduled for April 18, has been canceled. The historic grounds and trails remain open daily from 8:30 a.m. to sunset. Parking fees are waived.

• The Kiskatom Fire Department has canceled its Friday Night Fish Fry dinners of March 20 and 27. it has also canceled its Palm Sunday pancake breakfast on April 5.

• All Kingston City Hall meetings are canceled. 

• The state police are suspending employment fingerprinting, along with child safety seat checks, at their stations.

• All local Social Security offices are closed to the public for in-person service.

• Mohonk Mountain House is closed until April 1.

• The Woodstock Film Festival has postponed all spring events.

• The Clinton Community Library in Rhinebeck will be closed through March 29.

• The Ellenville Public Library and Museum will be closed through March 27.

• Coach House Players in Kingston has canceled the upcoming performance of "Nightwatch."

• The YMCA of Kingston and Ulster County is closed.

• No visitors are allowed at the two HealthAlliance hospitals in Kingston, Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.

• Roost Studios & Art Gallery in New Paltz is closed.

• Hudson Valley Honor Flight has postponed its two upcoming spring flights.

• The Ashokan Maple Fest 2020 has been canceled. 

• The Boys & Girls Club of Ulster County will be closed until March 30. 

• The Marlborough Town Hall is closed until further notice. 

• The Esopus Town Hall is closed until further notice.

• Ulster Ballet's 37th Annual Festival of Dance is canceled. 

• The Town of Ulster Justice Court is closed until March 27. 

• The town of Ulster Highway Department complex and the Water and Wastewater Department are closed. The Town Clerk's Office will have limited interactions.

• The Saugerties Library is closed.

• The Catskill Mountains Chapter of Trout Unlimited has suspended fly fishing classes at SUNY Ulster.

• Performing Arts of Woodstock has canceled its production of “Suddenly Last Summer.” 

• The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Catskills has canceled services on March 22. Family Friday, on March 27, also is canceled. 

• The Council For Resources to Enrich the Arts, Technology & Education will be closed to the public through the end of March. It will continue operating at its office at 398 Main St., Catskill, on a limited schedule.

• The state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision has temporarily suspended visits at all state correctional facilities. 

• The FDR Library and Museum in Hyde Park is closed until further notice.

• The Bardavon in Poughkeepsie and the Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston are closed through at least mid-April.

• All performances, events and programs at The Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck through April 16 are postponed or canceled.

• The Rhinebeck Rotary has canceled its May 18 Service Above Self awards dinner.

• Colony Woodstock has canceled events for at least two weeks.

• Helsinki Hudson has closed the club and the restaurant and canceled events.

• The Hudson River Maritime Museum, 50 Rondout Landing, Kingston, is closed, and it has canceled all spring Wednesday evening lectures, including April 15, April 29, May 13 and May 27; along with the April 24 opening reception for the exhibit, “Mary Powell: Queen of the Hudson.” The “Bottles & Brews: Prohibition in the Hudson Valley” program originally scheduled for Saturday, March 21, has been postponed; a new date will be announced.

• The Ulster County Office for Aging is suspending all county-sponsored activities until the end of March. The congregate meal (Community Café) sites in Ellenville, Saugerties, Rosendale and New Paltz, and the Ulster County Senior Hub, will be closed indefinitely and serving participants take-out frozen meals. 

• Worship at Church of the Comforter, 26 Wynkoop Place, Kingston, has been canceled until further notice. 

• The Kingston Library is closed. It plans to reopen Monday, March 30.

• The Saugerties Library has canceled all events and programs.

• The Phoenicia Library is closed and is scheduled to reopen April 1.

• The Woodstock Library has canceled all programs until April.

• The Rosendale Library has canceled its D&H Canal program on March 25.

• The Arts Society of Kingston has canceled upcoming events. The gallery is closed.

• The March 21 Movies With Spirit screening of "Hachi: A Dog's Tale" at the Church of the Messiah in Rhinebeck is canceled.

• The public Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) training scheduled for Thursday, March 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Columbia-Greene Community College, has been canceled.

• The Catskills Visitor Center in Mount Tremper is be closed to the public, as are the center’s offices in the Erpf Center in Arkville. Public events, workshops and programming scheduled for prior to May 31 will be rescheduled as virtual events or canceled. The 2020 Catskills Great Outdoor Expo also has been canceled. 

• The Morton Memorial Library & Community House in Rhinecliff is closed through March 31.

• The Town of Esopus Library has suspended all programs until further notice.

• Upstate Films in both Rhinebeck and Woodstock is closed. 

• The Rosendale Cafe has canceled Salsa Thursdays through March 26.

• The Business Alliance of Kingston has postponed its March 27 breakfast with Ulster County Sheriff Juan Figueroa.

• The American Association of University Women/Kingston has canceled the March Literary Group; March Meet and Greet; March Luncheon at Reginato's; March AAUW-Kingston Executive Meeting; and the April 29 trip to MoMA.

• The 10th annual Greene County Senior Citizens' Day, scheduled for Friday, May 15, has been postponed.

• Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County is limiting public access to its offices. Events, programs and meetings also are being postponed, moved online or canceled.

• The Little Nine Partners Historical Society has canceled the Friday, March 20, program at the Pine Plains Community Center.

• The Highland Hose Ladies Auxiliary penny social for Saturday, March 28, is postponed.

• Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine has postponed its Career Fair scheduled for Wednesday, March 25. 

•  All Masses in the Archdiocese of New York are canceled.  

• Woodstock Bookfest 2020, scheduled for March 26-29, has been canceled.

• Swing dance classes by Linda and Chester Freeman in Clermont, Newburgh and Kingston, and the swing dance at White Hall in Kingston, are canceled.

• The May 6 Hudson Valley Veterans Job Fair at SUNY New Paltz has been canceled.

• The Senior Corps MLK Community Resource Day, set for Thursday, March 26, has been postponed.

• The Saugerties Democratic Committee has postponed its March 26 forum with author Anne Nelson.

• The Anderson Center for Autism's Community Field Day, scheduled for Saturday, April 18, in Rhinebeck, has been canceled.

• Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan and Ulster's annual Celebration of Charity and Caritas Awards Dinner has been postponed until Tuesday, June 9, at Anthony’s Pier 9 in New Windsor.

• The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority-managed ski areas, including Belleayre Mountain in Ulster County, have suspended operations.
